Cuong is interested in using depth sensor technology to improve human-machine interfaces in the clinical environment. He worked to develop a program to track thumb motion using an Intel depth camera.
Alex is interested in simplification of fabrication techniques with the use of 3D-printing in order to increase the accessibility of orthotic devices for patients with Spinal Cord Injury. She is now continuing her education at Northwestern.
Gaurav is interested in developing neurally controlled orthoses and prostheses to understand the impact of these devices in the rehabilitation of hand motor function. He was recently awarded one of the first WRF Innovation Graduate Fellowships in Neuroengineering.
