Claudia is interested in tracking hand motion among children with cerebral palsy with Seattle Children’s Hospital. The goal is to determine how accelerometer-based measures of wrist movement can be used to inform clinical care and what design for the accelerometer works best for those needs.
Larry is interested in developing a system for affordable motion capture. He is currently examining the accuracy of the Microsoft Kinect depth camera compared with the traditional camera system used in motion capture clinics.
