Julia Costacurta, a previous REU student in our lab, has been named a Goldwater Scholar. The Goldwater Scholarship is the most prestigious award in the United States given to undergraduates studying in natural sciences, mathematics, and engineering. It is given to sophomores and juniors who demonstrate outstanding potential. Congratulations Julia!
